Meta

As far as pivots go, this one was pretty big. Repositioning, rebranding and delivering a new global platform for Portal. In a blink, we changed tack and went from kitchen-sink realism and grandparents to a much more vibrant and dynamic approach, making Portal the ultimate tool for working from home. This campaign was also global. That meant heavy collaboration with our teams in California and a lot of cooks in the kitchen. I was one of four Meta creative directors, working with AMV creative directors Michael Jones and Thomas Hazeldine and lead creatives Ben Smith and Dan Kennard.

We went ruthlessly product centric on our social and digital, pushing the brand into a more premium space worthy of its price point. With this, we embraced the new Meta gradient, creating a unique treatment to help Portal bring more dynamism to WFH.
