To say 2020 was hard would be a massive understatement. Huawei wanted to end the year on a positive note, looking back on all the extraordinary courage from regular people. Because of the seismic change to our way of life, we all relied on our phones far more. But connectivity wasn’t really the true hero of this story. So we visualised the film through the perspective of everyday people and the pictures they captured throughout the year. I worked on the concept and wrote the script for the film. And with no paid media support, it got over 2 million views on YouTube in under a month.
